BTB Summit 2024

Our annual Leadership Summit provides a time for Be the Bridge group members and leaders, community leaders, racial justice leaders, or those who want genuine connection and hope to gather. We began 2024 together with an incredible few days of being equipped, educated, and empowered.

We started off this year’s Leadership Summit with a Training Day. We had a great turnout and listened to to Eloise Sepeda of bethechange.tools and Doug Ammar from the Georgia Justice Project lead, train, and teach us.
Day one of #BTBSummit24 was an incredible day of true community and dynamic teaching. Tina Harris led us in contemplative prayer and Dawn Bynoe led us in worship through music. Dr. Terence Lester powerfully spoke on healthy community. Darryl Ford spoke on forgiveness and reconciliation. And all of our breakout sessions were wonderful! We loved hosting a Discussions & Desserts event during the Summit! It was an encouraging and hopeful brave space.
Day two of #BTBSummit24 was unforgettable. It was full of hope, wisdom, and the goodness of community. Corregan Brown led throughout the day, and Tina Harris and Dawn Bynoe guided us again in contemplative prayer and worship. Latasha Morrison authentically shared her heart. Dr. Will Gravely spoke on hope, and you can hear his talk on the Be the Bridge Podcast! We had another day of our wonderful breakout sessions. Dr. Eloise Sepeda shared on restorative justice. And we wrapped up our time together with the BTB executive team talking about what’s next for Be the Bridge.
We are grateful for all who participated and made this year’s Leadership Summit all that it was!
